milk & pumpkins

Nicander was King of Pumpkins on Halloween. He was a great solemn king until he fell asleep from all the excitement.

The stroller was a big hit at the Village Children’s Parade. Kids correctly identified it as the pumpkin mobile. I had a hard time convincing husband that we absolutely could not leave the stroller like this until Thanksgiving. Halloween in the East Village is the best! Sometimes hard to tell what is a Halloween costume and what is simply Village-wear.

Also, he was 25” (63.5cm) and 14lbs 9oz (6.5kg) at his last check-up-and-shots-appointment a few days ago (at 3 months minus 3 days), meaning he’s still in the 90th percentile for height. It’s amazing to me how he thrives on my milk alone. Well done, Mother Nature, well done.
